Emily Jackson, ABD

Emily Jackson researches gender, public opinion, reproductive politics, social movements, and civic engagement in Latin America and the United States. She is a Ph.D. candidate in Cornell University's Department of Government and a Research Fellow in the Women and Public Policy Program at Harvard Kennedy School. Her comparative research on abortion activism and policy implementation in Argentina, Colombia, and Costa Rica draws on semi-structured interviews, focus groups, and cross-national survey data. She also studies women's experiences in peace and security operations through the Gender and Security Sector Lab. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Comparative Politics, Perspectives on Politics, Politics, Groups, and Identities, and International Studies Perspectives.
