Kathleen Fallon, ABD

Kathleen Bahian Fallon studies how international organizations, political identity, and informal norms shape relations between Southeast Asian actors and powerful states. She is a Ph.D. candidate in International Relations in Cornell University's Department of Government. Her work combines qualitative field research with computational text and network analysis to examine decolonial identity, bureaucratic control, and resistance. She is affiliated with Cornell's Southeast Asia Program and works with the Gender and Security Sector Lab. Kathleen also brings expertise in cultural memory and history as they affect international relations.
